About the Artist

Nanette A. Olson received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1994 and Master of Fine Arts degrees in painting. She taught art classes at Brigham Young University for several years and had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in London, England.

She has had a love of art and art history for most of her life. She also enjoys traveling throughout the world and visiting art museums in the various cities she visits.

Nanette's art has been shown in museums and galleries in Utah, Wyoming, new Mexico, Texas and New York.

"When I travel I like to keep an open mind and take in as much visual information as possible because I never know from where inspiration will come. It often comes from seemingly insignificant instances and sights. I know what it is when I see it and it is exciting."
