About the Artist

I paint the human figure. I love to explore thier strengths and their human frailties. I want to discover who they are connected to and how that connection renders their frailties less harmful--to themselves and to others. My awareness of interpersonal relationships offers me strength in knowing who I am because of who my people are. I attempt to portray all kinds of people who possess honor, courage, and integrity despite their shortcomings, and that gives me hope. I paint hope.
